sarcastickatt: zeefster: New followers: At the beginning of February I made a PotatOS hack out of another painting class’s still life, my first contribution to the Portal fandom, and I took her home once they were finished with it.  I didn’t want her to go to waste so I set her in a pot over midterm break and it took a little over that one week for roots to show up. Now it has been two and a half weeks and the sprouts are getting tall fast.  The one on the far left already separated itself from the potato. New weird fic idea: POTaTOS is never recovered. She lies abandoned in Old Aperture, eventually sprouting and growing. Starts taking over the environment like in New Ap. So she becomes this weird mix of plant and machine? I don’t know, maybe someone smarter than me can run with it. :P The bad guy in Jayce & the Wheeled Warriors was a kind of plant-machine hybrid, so there’s definitely a precedence. Might be a fun idea, but I don’t think I have the attention span to do it justice.
