Something I learned tonight
I really hate stereotypically girlish characters. They can be done right and I’ve enjoyed books with girly protagonists, but when I’m only 49 pages into a book and am gritting my teeth in frustration then it’s time to admit defeat.
The plot sounded mildly interesting, even if it took a back seat to the romancy part of things. Which probably should have been another clue.
